Bagpipes in the Bois

A_bagpiper_in_the_bois

This afternoon while walking my usual route around Hippodrome de Longchamp, an unexpected treat: two French guys playing bagpipes! Speaking of treats, if you're an "Empire Strikes Back" fan, you may appreciate this amusing video.

What a lovely day! I love the thought of bagpipes in the park!

Beautiful atmosphere. I like the sound of pipes. We have street musicians here who play the Scottish bagpipes. xoxo

Those photos are actually quite reminiscent of my walk through the park here at home! A little bit of Paris in my own backyard :)

Sadly, no cute bagpipers!

Paris in Springtime ... glorious!

Absolutely beautiful photos...what a lovely walk!!

I enjoy these beautiful images of spring and new hope. Things in the world can be so heavy, at times it is wonderful to find some relief in lovely images.

Frenchmen playing bagpipes - whatever next? Though I know the French like the Scots better than they do the English.
Fabulous walk you took us on there Tara, just wish I had put some comfortable shoes on :)

Oh you are home!! ;D
What an amazing walk, thank you so much. I've been stuck here working for days. I need to get out! This inspires me to do just that.
xo

A serenade for your lovely spring walk. xxoo

2 French guys playing the bagpipes? Cool! Spring looks really pretty in your part of the world :-)
